Marc - Note App

Marc is an ongoing passion project born from the belief that note-taking and journaling are fundamental to personal growth. While platforms like Notion offer robust features, I wanted something tailored specifically to my needs with complete control over my valuable data.

The application began as a simple note-taking system with basic folders and organization. Built with React and Firestore for data management, I also created a desktop version using Electron that can be activated instantly via keyboard shortcuts for seamless access.

What sets Marc apart is its integration with advanced AI capabilities: - Vector embeddings for all notes, enabling visualization in knowledge graphs to identify connections between ideas - Conversational interfaces allowing me to chat with individual notes or my entire knowledge base - Calendar and to-do list integration for comprehensive personal management - Daily notes system for consistent journaling - GitHub-inspired activity tracker to visualize my writing and note-taking patterns over time - Custom fine-tuning system that feeds my writing into OpenAI's fine-tuning API, creating a model that writes exactly in my style

This project represents my vision for personal knowledge management: a system that not only stores information but transforms it into an interactive, evolving representation of my thoughts and ideas over time.
